All puppies found their new home. (1-6-2008)

The smallest member of the Pekingese family is the sleeve peke.  A sleeve peke is approximately six pounds or under. A sleeve should be well proportioned and able to meet with the same standards as regular-size pekes. Sleeve pekes are rare and pricey and most breeders are not willing to part with such a prize. The pekes from 6 to 8 pounds are called miniatures.

The Peke is a calm, good-tempered, non-aggressive and fearless dog, at times can be extremely stubborn. Peke is naturally aloof with strangers and very protective of his home and family. The Peke coat is profuse, gloriously long, straight and coarse in texture with a mane formed on the neck and shoulders. The Pekingese has a flat face with the nose well up between large, round, dark eyes. Because of this, he is heat sensitive and should maintain a cool environment.

We DO NOT guarantee ANY of our puppies to be Sleeves, nor should ANY other breeder. There are times when you have a good idea one might be, but they can surprise you.
